Today is National
Doughnut Day! That means there are doughnut shops around the country who are
just handing out sweet fried deliciousness for free!
National Doughnut Day
was established by the Salvation Army in 1938 to honor the “Doughnut Lassies”
who served doughnuts to soldiers during World War 1. After the war was over,
the Salvation Army continued to celebrate Doughnut Day to raise funds for the
homeless and hungry.
This is one day
sockprints wouldn’t miss celebrating, we have a box of donuts in the break
room, and we are even rocking some custom-printed donut socks!
Happy National Donut
Day America! And remember “Donut Worry, Eat Happy!”
