Think Pink - Personalized Breast Cancer Awareness Socks!
It’s that time of the year when we keep encouraging all the
strong women battling breast cancer, remember those who lost the battle, and
increase awareness of the disease.
This month’s spotlight is on sockprints’ friend, Lourdes who
was diagnosed in August 2013 with breast cancer. With a strong mind and an encouraging family,
Lourdes never had any doubt in beating the disease. During the process she lost her hair, battled
with fatigue and weakness but always had a smile and a positive outlook. Just a couple months after having a mastectomy
and a couple rounds of chemotherapy, she was able to have strength to go back
to work a couple times a week. She is
currently in her last round of chemotherapy! Stay strong Lourdes!

I am glad your friend is doing well. A friend of mine who has cancer in her family just tested negative for caring the gene. Good news!
Thanks for your comment Kathy! Great news about your friend too!
Sounds like Lourdes, is well on her way to a healthy life. Good for her! :)
